Home is where the heart is

...and mine is at our home in Varkaus and at our cottage that used to be my grandpa's house.

After Xmas we went to our cottage. Were going to heat up the outdoor hot tub and enjoy life outside under the stars but kept warm.

We got unlucky with the weather. The most massive storm was approaching from Norway.
And it hit.
The wind blew like crazy.

We were fortunate enough to have electricity unlike many whose power shut down because of trees on the electricity lines. I read online that some households are still without power! That's like 1.5weeks. Must be freezing.

Hot tub changed into a relaxing evening inside watching a replay of a memorial concert for Finnish singer Kari Tapio, eating well, enjoying candle light, taking pictures of beautiful details and napping before sleeping. I even found my first teddy that a family friend brought me when I was born.

Looking through all kinds of apartment pictures from various blogs, and looking at the pictures I took at home and the cottage make me really want to have my own home for once. Something that would actually feel like home and could be decorated like my own, too. I've had enough of this 'living with three random men, or student housing' stuff. Thankfully graduation shouldn't be too far away and maybe a real job one day could lead to a real home, too. :-)
