Sencity UK

Memory card empty, battery full.
Camera ready.
It was time for:
the 1st ever

Sencity UK @ The O2 Indigo
on the 8th October

I've been arranging Sencity back in Finland twice, and out of curiosity I offered to help out here in London. Interesting to see how the event was arranged elsewhere.
Questions in mind before the event:
What will it be like? The same, or bigger and better?
More people? More international? Bigger venue? Content?

I went to help out at the photobooth of the event together with two other girls. Also had some time to go take a few shots of Signmark's performance and of party people at the end of the night.

Lets go back to basics and introduce the event to those who haven't earlier heard of it.
So what is Sencity?
I've always described it as:
Sencity is an unique event for you to experience a club night through all your senses.

Sencity is for both deaf and hearing people - for anyone seeking for experiences and party!
The main content of the event, that can be found from all Sencities, consists of something for all senses:

Taste - various kinds of snacks and drinks provided for free.
Feel - vibrating dancefloor, masseuses, hairdressers, make-up artists.
See - amazing visuals by video jockeys, decorations, performances.
Smell - aroma jockeys.
Hear - music, performers.

Sencity London had ice-cones, cotton candy, sign dancers, other dance acts, various DJ's, Finnish artist Signmark as the headliner and all the main content listed above...and more.

Signmark is a Finnish musician performing in sign language. Click on to Signmark's website here.

The Sencity -concept is Dutch and the event is organized by Skyway Programs. Nights have been held all around the world, including Germany, Australia, Brazil..
And answers to the questions I had before the event:
In comparison to our Sencity in Finland, Sencity London was a lot bigger.
I won't say better, as ours was obviously ah-mazing aswell. ;)
Sencity UK, though, was far more international as I met people from France, Poland, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands.

Really enjoyable and something to call a definite experience!
Have you ever been to Sencity?
