COSTO // Bamboo shades!

Introducing:

Costo -  ecology, style and quality

What makes me happy is the fact that the brand is from my home country, Finland.
In a world of fast consumption, the philosophy of the Costo -brand is something very opposite to what many companies represent.

In their own words (with a personal bolded emphasis of mine, which I find interesting and important):
"Costo tries to break borders that limit style to certain time or genre. This is why Costo products are not directed to any certain segment and it is essential that they do not classify customers into narrow boxes. A Costo hat may be sported by an elegant elderly lady striving for old-school stylishness or by an urban hipster who follows the latest street fashion. Costo's style is in fact an anti-style. It goes against the prevailing throw-awayism, where things are produced only for a moment's pleasure."

Design: Arandai Smoke (personal favorite)
Costo has a wide variety of hats, beanies, bags, and other accessories.
As their new addition they are releasing sunglasses together with Australian Quay Eyeware.

There will be two models - Arandai and Parasena.
Hand made out of bamboo with CR-39 lenses.
You can also use prescription lenses.

Left: Arandai Mirror, Right: Parasena Mirror

If these shades caught your eye - do watch for their release date.
(which ifyoureadcarefullyenough is somewhere after Valentines day)

This is a limited edition collection with 50 sunnies per design!
The price will be 125€ which is a bit over £100.

Costo products can be internationally ordered from their online store. You can also find a list of retailers from their website. Countries include Finland, Denmark, The Netherlands, U.S.A, New Zealand, Germany and France.

Finnish online store Overboard (where I also purchased my longboard from) will be getting a few of these shades in their catalogue, too. If you want friendly service, on-time/fast deliveries and reliable, quality products - I do recommend!
By the way, they have competitions nearly weekly on their Facebook page with one currently on. I'd keep a close eye on that if I were you.
