BLAST OFF

Yesterday I had my last supper with grrreat friends and now it's boooom. We're leaving. Don't have time to write. Have to pack. Have to go eat Ikea meatballs. Have to leave. Great times are over, new ones are to come.

I wish only the very best for all.

Flow -pictures & Weekend fun

Countdown 4

Oh my god,

I can't believe this,

I've never been this far away from home

Geez, it's already Tuesday (going on Wednesday). I'm really leaving soon, we're really leaving soon. I still have to pack again, wash clothes, buy some weird oil for my car, meet up with friends, work, would want to see two movies (Inception and Sisko tahtoisi jäädä), clean my car, what more - I can't remember. (Wonder how many times I've repeated all of this. Just can't find the time for everything.) I should probably also check I have all the ferry tickets with me and all. What a stress I'm getting myself into! I can't remember when I last was ill but now all this worrying and panic brought me a nasty flu. Always when I catch a flu it lasts for longer than it would take to watch all Harry Potters twentysevenmillion times in a row. Don't know where that came from. Not that big of a Harry P fan even. Actually not a fan at all. Have to get a grip of myself and start going organic and super again. My body needs it.

Have to say that I haven't really been that interested in leaving Finland lately. Before summer I was ever so positive about everything in life but what has happened to all of that, oh no! There's so many things I'm going to miss in Finland. What's funniest is I thought I liked coming and going but now I would feel like settling down, in Helsinki for example. Feels like I've been leaving places all my life. Anyway, I've tried to motivate myself and think positively - the upcoming school year will be such a great experience, truly educating and ever so exciting.

Today I went to have lunch with a pretty new friend of mine, Rafael. We got to know eachother at a waterfight that was arranged at the Hietsu -beach this summer. Feels like I've known R for aaages! He's crazygreat and ever so creative. We get the craziest ideas and inventions together. While eating we got company, a bee who just couldn't end physical contact with R. Because Mr. Bee made it so hard for us to eat (climbing on R's legs and hands) we had to trap him under a bowl.

Now off to bed, even though I could spend all night exploring the exciting experiences my new Mac provides me.

Flow day 2 & 3

Thank you FLOW wow wow wow!!

Day 2 was grrreat. Bumped into many friends I didn't even know were at the festival. Saw Robyn and M.I.A and they were amazing - both so energetic and stylish women, ahh. Day 3 was a more randomband day. I didn't really know any of the artists beforehand - at least not by name. Anyhow I say Marina and the Diamonds, The XX and Caribou. A shame Jonsi couldn't make it and a shame I was at work when Kemmuru performed. All in all - a great festival full of stylish and b e a uutiful people, hip music and cozy atmosphere.

I have been so busy for the last two weeks with work and all that I don't have time to do all the things I wanted to before I leave. Plus I'd really want to have time to write interesting blog texts but maybe I'll get to that when I settle down in Haarlem.

Flow day 1

Flow day one was nice. Hadn't experienced the festival before. After my headache disappeared I had the best time ever. We got to know all kinds of random people, young and old.

Now quickly some pictures before I leave for Flow day 2!

Yesterday we saw Air and Big Boi and that was about it. Today Robyn and M.I.A.

Countdown 8

I'm running late with my countdowns by hours. Today was a great day.

A few key's of my day:

* Had lunch with an old friend at Chico's. Never been there before! Was gooood.

* Was offered a work shift for tomorrow. Didn't take it. Have to pack. Have to meet friends. I'm the worst person at saying no - but I made it this time. Was seriously a "Linda you will be in trouble with all work you have if you say yes" -moment.

*Work. Had fun. Have gr8 work mates. Plus customers, especially grannies and little kids. Aww, shall miss a lot.

* Seeing other friend and having McDonalds (bad bad bad - feeling body enlarge).

* Two shooting stars.

Tomorrow I'm going to search for somethinggg exciting which I'll probs tell about later. Plus still have to send that present to mummy. Didn't get upto that today. Gah.

Now bed awaits.
