Ladies night and Sinterklaas

Yesterday night was:
...as Scott liked to put it.
The theme was fancyyy so I got to wear my precious New York purchase which I hadn't worn since some weird private clubs night in NY with Ellu, Mr. Barbie and Mr. Promoter.
Eve getting ready
We went to a yummy thai-restaurant
After which several bars and clubs.
Me and Eve left already on the last train at 1.27am which we just and just made after changing from heels to ballerinas and running in the rain with a paperbag falling in to pieces.
When we finally made it to the Haarlem station it was poooouring rain.
We were like soaked dogs when entering DUWO. At that point it was girls fancy night gone ugly haha!
(Oh thanks for the policemen for waving at us from the car but not bothering to take us home;))
Today was the day of Sinterklaas' arrival. We went to check it out in the center of Haarlem. Esther was so happy she finally got to see the man she had grown up hearing stories of for the past 19years ;-)
Unfortunately it started raining and we didn't go greet Mr. Sinterklaas or sit on his lap. Something for E to do next year!
Sinterklaas, the wnb Santa Claus
Oh yes, we found organic fries!
This sign made me think of last school year in JAMK. Wonder why, Ingrid?;-)
Plus I just came from a jog on the beach. It was so calm and lovely. Just a few people when I went and none when I left. Definitely going again soon!

PS: For the first time in about 2.5years I connected my old camera to my computer to transfer pictures. For example I found pictures from my trip to Cyprus with the boys (Hämppi, Kimmo, Jaakko and Teemu) in summer ´09 and...I found this:
Not forgetting some cool videos of the same man.Very entertaining to watch and listen to, I'd say.
Matti is the man.

Storm

WHAT IS THIS WEATHER?
Lightning, storm, thunder, heavy rain...ew.
Last year this time I was at Rob's cool superhero birthday party in Jyväskylä. This year I was gonna attend the same in Breda but this storm isn't really giving me the motivation to drive.
(So yes, I got my car fixed! Today! Super happy about that.)

Gonna continue watching TBBT, since even going to the gym 300m away is now out of consideration.

ps. I found some old pics and started to miss my old hair hahah!
Short, long...natural color.
Boo.
Why do I always do something to my hair and then want it the way it was before haha!
(and yes, those are fully normal pictures of me...no smiling, I prefer those ridiculous faces!:-))

pps. If not yet discovered - listen to this: Rihanna feat. Eminem - Love The Way You Lie pt. 2
Eminem is always so tough with his lyrics, isn't he! I love it.

Feel like home?

Yesterday it was the kickoff of the Artist Management -minor!
It's gonna be, again, a tough one but in te res ting! I hope.

Hadn't seen Annaïs in longlonglong so today we went to have a catch-up lunch together. First we were supposed to go to a student friendly priced restaurant, Brussels (as a continuation to the Brussels trip I guess haha!), but it was closed so we ended up in the not-so-student-friendly... SUMO!
But Sumo is always good. No complaints. Totally recommendable!
We bumped into Annaïs' lovely, sweet friend who joined us!
After completing (only) 3 rounds (out of 6) I was already stuffed and ready to roll back to bed.
Sushi is just so yummy.
But all you can eat sushi makes you... diiiie.
This time we couldn't get free ice-cream even though Annaïs used her great speaking skills again! What a pity. And no, I'm never so full that a ball of mango or green tea ice-cream wouldn't fit. Duh!

Sushi was followed by an Ikea trip with Eve.
Oh what did we go get? Nothing much.
We lent Johannes E's car. Why was everyone staring at us when I drove? I'm not THAT bad.
Maybe it was just the idea of two Finnish blondes in a German car in Holland... hmm. Whatever, I did well - J, nothing to be worried about. ;-)
While we were taking these pictures some guy walked passed us asking: "Do you girls feel like you're at home now?" Plus...inside when buying Swedish cider (yes it's very cheap so we bought some for storage) they were laughing at our mixed language of Finnish, Swedish, English and Dutch. And probably the amount of ciders that we were buying. For storage (!!! I'd like to emphasis on that).

Thank you Ikea for being ridiculously cheap and making people buy stuff they think they need.
Now I have 7 pillows. Is that seriously necessary? Well in Ikea I thought it was.
Oh and the getting nothing much was a joke...pillows, blankets, sheets, candles, towels...nothing much.

Great people, great day.
I was supposed to go to the gym.
Maybe I still will.

Pictures of Monday's yummmm couscous dinner with Essu!

Lotsoflove,
L
